Hours:

After school and evening appointments available for in-person counselling in Kitchener and virtual counselling in Ontario.

 

The office is in the heart of Belmont Village in Kitchener. My office is on the second floor. There is free parking on Belmont Avenue and in the adjacent parking lots.

Once inside you will be met with a set of stairs that will take you up to the second floor.  Please note that the stairs are the only point of entrance and therefore the office is unfortunately not accessible. If you have any questions or require accommodations, please let me know.

Parents and caregivers, unfortunately I cannot see the parking lot or the front of the building from my window. I ask that you wait for your children in the waiting room for the duration of their session to ensure the highest standard of safety.

    OK2BME

    OK2BME is a set of supportive services for 2SLGBTQIA+ children, teens, adults and their families in Waterloo Region. The OK2BME program consists of three unique areas including confidential counselling services (in-person or online), OK2BME Youth Groups for individuals 12-18, as well as public education, consulting and training around 2SLGBTQIA+ issues.

    Kids Help Phone

    Kids Help Phone is a 24/7 e-mental health service offering free, confidential support to young people in both English and French. Their goal is to help increase the understanding of mental health so individuals feel more empowered to talk about it. They offer conversations with a professional counsellor on the phone or live chat, a Peer-to-Peer Community, in-person or virtual support services and even games, quizzes and activities to build your skills.

    Front Door

    Front Door is a safe, inclusive and welcoming space for all people. They work with parents/caregivers, children and youth (up to 18 years old) who are struggling with emotions, behaviours, relationships and mental health. They offer support and can help you figure out next steps, including access to other services.

    BullyingCanada provides a safe environment and resources for Canadian youth affected by bullying. They have trained support volunteers and professional counsellors who work with bullied Canadian youth, their parents and local supports to help them heal and successfully navigate difficult situations to achieve a positive outcome.
